POWER OF A MOTHER’S LOVE

Sir,

‘Mother’s Day’; what a day, what a time, nothing is as exciting as showing pure love to the one you love. The love of a mother shapes cultures and individuals.

While most mothers know that their love and emotional availability are vital for their children’s well-being, many of us do not understand the profound and long lasting impact we have in developing our young children’s brains, teaching them the first lessons of love, shaping their consciences.

If love is withheld, a child will look for it in various ways, sometimes throughout their lifetime unless they come to peace with their past.
The emotional foundation given to children at home is fundamental to their lives. We cannot underestimate the value of a home and the power of a mother’s love. Mothers teach us to believe in ourselves, to have that self confidence in every route we choose to take.
Mothers are the emotional backbones of families; they are the foundation of everyone’s feelings and do their best to keep us from being hurt. Mothers work hard and make sacrifices so that their children become better individuals.

Mothers are forgiving so we have to forgive them in return. Perhaps nothing will be as valuable as a gift to both of you as forgiveness. Open your heart and drop your resentments, now that’s love. When you want to climb the tallest mountain, your mother will make lunch for you; she is the one who will support your dreams when no one else will.

Her boundaries make you a better person. You may not like some of her decisions, especially when you want to party with your friends, but in her state of mind, she wants to keep you out of trouble.
Mothers have taught and still teach us to be functioning adults.
A mother’s smile, when directed towards you, makes your day a whole lot better. All she needs is to know that she has helped you to be and feel your best, just say thank you. Show her you care by acknowledging her value in your life, and if you don’t have, take one who is like a mother to you out for bunch.
