CROSS BORDER PROBLEM

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

I’m very disappointed with our government.

It keeps on telling us that we must start our n businesses so that we can contribute to the economy of the country. And because of this I started my floor polish making business and I scouted customers in South Africa but to my surprise along the way I discovered that my products were not allowed to cross the border and there was no reason given.

If we are not permitted to take our products to South Africa, why is the ministry responsible not talking to their counterparts in that country so that they can reach common ground. I don’t understand why we are not permitted to take our products to South Africa while South Africans are able to bring their products into the country hassle-free.

Can the ministry responsible please sort this issue because the playing ground is not level; instead it favors South African products.
I have been faced with this challenge for over two years now and it has caused me a great deal of suffering, and mind you most of the material we use is from South Africa. Can government come to our rescue. The products I am talking about are floor polish and Vaseline  made of sisal (halibhoma).
