VISION - SIGHT OF THE HUMAN MIND

Sir,

Sight is the ability to see using your normal human eyes and vision is using your spiritual eyes to see your physical/spiritual destiny.

Having a vision is being able to reach your physical destiny through your spiritual mind and then follow a planned path for its manifestation in the physical realm. In Proverbs 29:18 the Bible says where there is no prophetic vision the people perish, this is a simple illustration of the importance of vision to the Lord Almighty.

Habakkuk 2:2 and the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain in tablets, so he may run who reads it.” This subject about vision gives me a flash back on a sermon once delivered by Miles Munroe.

He said vision will dictate your future, it will dictate the kind of friends you associate yourself with, it will give you a clear understanding of the people you need next to you in order for you to reach your destiny.
Vision will determine your library, the kind of books and content you read should go with your vision, the kind of movies you watch, films and documentaries, should be in line with your vision.

The way you plan your life should be in line with your vision, as well as the kind of hobbies you have.
Your diet is not spared; eg one with the vision to participate in the Olympics needs the necessary diet to achieve such, and an aspiring scientist needs the necessary diet to achieve that dream as well.

Basically what Miles was trying to stress is that once you know your destination, you automatically know which roads will not take you there. God is waiting on each and every one of us to start listening to him, to start receiving our visions and making the proper plans to reach those envisioned destinations. Making a plan towards a set vision may take calculated steps, go ahead take those calculated steps.
