HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY?

I have always had a deference when it comes to such questions.

How do you say something is half full or half empty when you do not have standard measuring apparatus? Even then what about the main item being used? More especially the glass.
Who says it is absolute when there are parts of it that do not contain water – visible that is.  But then again man has always found no issues arguing over monotonous topics. So why do we argue anyways, who says one is right or when does one know they are on the wrong?
Such yardsticks are used to determine one’s outlook on life; whether they see things for what they are or could be.

Interesting though when considering that one’s outlook does not necessarily determine where they end up.
One may constantly be seeing obstacles in their path but that may not render that person ineffective in taking decisions; they may take the ‘let’s wait and see’ approach. Again, waiting to see what happens may mean you prefer seeing things pan out as compared to people who are restless when change is far from the horizon.
Suffice to say then that there are people who wait for things to happen and those who make things happen – the in-betweeners are a story for another day.

Some situations call for one to reserve judgment or not say or do anything at all. Just as a creative person will see the beauty in everything, so too will a lawyer want to have the final say.
Parallels they may be but how you look at things in front of you is just a fragment of how you deal with certain situations that may arise in your life. Just as everyone has problems to deal with so too are those problems unique to that individual – whether optimistic or pessimistic.

Although a great deal is said that man, eventually, is a product of their thoughts; a lot can be deduced from the fact that one man’s ambition is another’s attrition.
Our methods and behaviour in the grand cycle that is life give what we seek at the end of the day no matter the approach used.
No person can truly become a picture of grandeur without being truly happy with themselves. Whenever a person is at peace and harmony with their mind, body and spirit only then will success be a part of their life. Earl Nightingale, in one of his lectures, attests that success is the progressive realisation of a worthy ideal.
Man will only truly be a success of themselves if they continually march towards a pre-determined destination.
