THE 4TH SEASON OF FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE IS HERE!

MBABANE – Swaziland Beverages and House on Fire will be hosting the Sibebe Friday Night Live Season 4, from September 26.
Season 4 of this live entertainment set offers increased performance fees and a range of prizes for participating artists.


The biggest prize of all is a slot for selected artists at the MTN BUSHFIRE 2015.
House on Fire’s marketing manager Ronnie Ndzimandze confirmed the upcoming shows.
“Yes we are back with the Sibebe Night Live shows. Conceptualised in 2010, Sibebe Friday Night Live is Swaziland’s premier showcase supporting the development and growth of the performing arts in the country.

“The series will feature live music, dance, poetry, DJs, interactive arts and fashion from within Swaziland” said Ndzimandze .
The Designers of  the fourth  season have placed a special emphasis on an exciting new series format that aims to increase local artist’s development and exposure.


The new developments of this season of Sibebe Friday Night Live will include an increased performance fee for the headliner, a newly introduced fee for the opening act as well as DJ slot for each event.
“There will also be a focus on artist mentorship, artist collaborations with the local fashion industry and a professionally choreographed photo shoot. Season 4 will offer no less than 3 different winner categories, enabling winning acts to secure prized slots at MTN BUSHFIRE 2015,”said Ndzimandze.


Support


The application process is now open for Swazi bands, DJs and  Dance troops that have an established brands and  support bases.
“It is important that the competing artists already have ‘live’ stage experience, professional recordings, and an understanding of marketing their product” said Ndzimandze.


The application period is only open for one week, from yesterday to Friday, September 19. Application forms will be available from House on Fire, and media houses including   The Times of Swaziland.
