MORE THAN 20 ARTISTS FOR POLICE MASS CHOIR LAUNCH

MBABANE – Over 20 gospel artists are expected to thrill gospel music lovers during the launch of the newly formed Police Gospel Mass Choir.


 The launch scheduled for tomorrow night at the Police College in Matsapha is expected to feature the country’s top artists who include Gcina Masuku, Phathwakahle, Zaga Dlamini and Police Gospel Messengers.


Other artists expected to perform during the launch are Nduduzo Matse, Zaga Dlamini, Isambulo Duet, Zodwa Samboko, RSP Male Voice, Thabile Myeni, Heavenly Calls, Voice of an Eagle, Angel D, Back to God, Youth Effect and Manana and the Soldiers of Christ.
The Police Gospel Mass Choir which will be launching its first album consists of 22 members who are all currently undergoing training at the Police College.


The choir has already recorded an album which is expected to be out just before the day of the launch.
The album was recorded at the Jamming House and recording was Sicelo Dlamini from the Down East Studios.
The choir under the full mentorship of the Police Gospel Messengers is being led by Jackie Mdluli.


Mdluli confirmed the launch of the choir saying some of the artists have already confirmed taking part during the launch.
“The gospel music industry can be assured of one of the best albums they have ever heard. We will be hosting our first show at the Police College where we will be unveiling our latest album. The album is indeed a good album and we will definitely be taking it to the different music outlets once it has been released,” he said.


He urged all gospel music lovers to come in their numbers as this will be one of the best shows.
“The Police College is the place to be on Friday night.
“Most gospel artists have confirmed their participation and, therefore, we invite all gospel music lovers to come in numbers to the show,” he said.
Zakhele Ginindza who is also part of the organisers said gospel music lovers should make sure that they do not miss this show,” he said.
