MBABANE- South Africa’s Trial biking extraordinaire Brian Capper will be performing at the Swazi Rally to be held on Saturday August 31, at Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo .

The Swazi Rally is a gathering of Motor Cycling loving people, that come from all over, most of them come from South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Mozambique and even had overseas visitors as well, they all ride their motorcycles.

With eight titles under his belt and a wealth of international racing experience, Capper has a passion for extreme trick riding, where conquering immense obstacles on one wheel is standard procedure. Impossible is not in his vocabulary, and any challenge is seen as a dare.
He also became the first rider in the World to successfully land a back flip on a Trials bike. “It was a rush I can’t explain in words. I have always dreamt of flipping, and to master something that really scared me made me feel like I could do anything,” Capper said.

At the age of nine, Capper began his affair with horsepower, and went on to win his first National Title at 17 in the Outdoor Footup Trials Arena. His extraordinary throttle control and balance led him to the World Trials stage, where, despite injury, he brought home seventh in the championship chase. But his most valuable acquisition was the concept of an extreme Trials riding exhibition.

Capper custom designed a rig and began his remarkable journey across the world and around his country developing his skills and captivating audiences with unique tricks. “I love performing in front of a crowd. The more excited the people get, the more amped I get, and the better the show is,” he said. His limited free time is saturated with training, mental preparation, and getting race-ready. He considers his body a weapon and spends hour upon hour sharpening his skills. “I spend a lot of time cycling and riding the motorcycle. To me those two are most important,” Capper said.

He rides Motocross and Supermoto, hits the gym, and goes swimming. Every few months he does a brutal training camp with his trainer. “It is a huge part of my mental preparation, as we spend a lot of time visualizing the race and where the best lines will be,” Capper said. Capper’s constant need for speed has ultimately led him to a new adventure in Enduro racing. He first tasted the adrenaline at the Red Bull Harescramble in Ertzberg Austria where he finished tenth in what was deemed an impossible race.

Capper is always up for a challenge, and his goals are to go head to head with the toughest Enduro events his country and the world have to offer. “I believe when I raced Enduros at an earlier stage in my life, I was young and reckless. Now with a few more years of racing under my belt, I believe I am mentally mature enough for the challenge. I am going to put all my effort into winning in another discipline,” he said.
Everyone rides to Swaziland and gathers at Riders Ranch in Sidvokodvo, where the Swazi Rally team puts on entertainment for Friday night, Saturday during the day and evening. For more information on the Swazi Rally please contact
