‘Sdudla SaseThekwini’ to rock Mavuso on Saturday
MBABANE – South African gospel artist Thobekile Mkhwanazi is expected to be the main attraction during the launch of Sdumo and Hambanathi Jericho’s album.
The artist, who is famously knows as ‘Sdudla SaseThekwini’, is expected to perform during an all night gospel music festival scheduled for the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on Saturday.
Joining Mkhwanazi on stage would be artists who include Shongwe and Khuphuka, Cape Town Jericho, Mcolisi Mbetse, Lidwala LaseJericho, Lavundlamanti Jericho and Dr Mjerico.
The group would be launching its seventh album titled ‘Gaya Mbokodzo’.
Sdumo Ndwandwe, leader of the group said preparations for the launch were at an advanced stage saying Mkhwa-nazi had confirmed her participation.
“The show is one not to be missed because the best choirs from the Jericho sector would be gathered during the night. Most of the choirs have promised to be at their best we believe they will all come prepared for the show,” he said.
He urged members of the public to come and support them saying they would also be selling CDs of their latest album.
There will also be a number of guests attending the show.
Entrance to the show is E50.
