We are costly - Twins with a Vision
MATSAPHA – Bringing the once famous Twins with a Vision Gospel duo is now a costly affair.
They say they have since turned professional, and being pricey somewhat comes with the territory.
They are no longer just a duo; they lead a five piece band that is on their payroll every time they go anywhere to perform. This means one has to do their financial homework before inviting them.
"We pay them (band members and backers) E1 500 each, and let me also mention that we also have backers who also must be paid money," said one of the twins, Sandile Mazibuko.
Sandile and his brother Bandile were spotted during Bishop T.D Jakes’ Welcome Gala Dinner at the Jesus Calls Church in Matsapha on Saturday evening.
Gone are the days when any organiser could call and ask one of them to perform at short notice. Now, anybody who wants to invite the Twins must ‘follow the protocol’, as said by Bandile, and contact their office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He added that they are very busy in South Africa, where they are based and also run their own record label called BASA BAMVUYO Music Productions, loosely translated as Bandile, Sandile, Banele and Nomvuyo, all from the same family.
"We are into business and in the ministry at the same time. Twins with a Vision will never die. We continue to grow in business and ministry, and we are professional in our approach," Bandile added.
The twins said they would also like to apologise to members of the public for their failure to show up at the Word of Hope Ministries’ fete at the Coronation Park held two weeks ago.
"My brother Sandile was in Zimbabwe on business and I just could not have come alone to Swaziland," Bandile went on to say.
They also revealed that they are working on a new album, which they will release hopefully before the Easter holidays.
