Another branded t-shirt line

This seems to be the ‘in-thing’ as some are now branding their various clan names on the tees. Bongani Nxumalo of Mbabane, is an example of this as he has now started his own t-shirt line which is aimed at bringing bearers of the Nxumalo surname together.

Just two weeks into the game, Nxumalo has established a wide range of these t- shirts which boast a huge clientele as well. He admits to have been inspired by the KwaZulu Natal Ndwandwe clan who are unified, they meet at least once a month and it all started with a t-shirt line in their name.

"This t-shirt line is aimed at bringing the Nxumalos together. I got this concept from the KZN Ndwandwe clan who usually meet every first week of the month. I like the way they show unity," he said.

He added that they only have the Nxumalo t-shirt range to their collection so far, but other surnames were welcomed to place their orders with them.

"We have seen the demand for these t- shirts from various people of different surnames as well and we promise that with time we would include other surnames as well," he said.

This concept will enable people of the same surname to easily identify each other. This will in turn serve as a good purpose because good relationships are formed that way.

The t-shirts have the words, Zwide Rocks in bold on them, asked as to why he thinks Nxumalo’s rocked, he answered by saying that the Nxumalo surname was highly respected in all avenues.

"Our surname is very important in this country as the Dlamini’s call us, those who gave life to the Kings. I perceive this to mean we are somehow important," he said.
