LOBAMBA – Continuing with its mandate of nurturing Swazi sports, arts and culture, the Swaziland National Council of Arts and Culture (SNCAC) sponsored the Schools Drum-majorettes Competition to the tune of E24 000.

This was said by Thulisile Motsa who greatly appreciated the role played by the council mentioning that without their assistance, they (organising committee) would not have managed staging the event.

"The Arts and Culture Council has taken us from one level to the next best level because we were able to purchase at least 171 trophies for the final winners of the competition. We highly appreciate their interest and contribution to this," said Motsa.

Confirming the sponsorship was SNCAC CEO, Stanley Dlamini who said: "it was with great honour to finance the sport because this is an initiative that strives to protect and nurture the future of the kingdom, that being the children," he said.
