ESWATINI TV, LOCAL BUSINESSES GIVE BACK TO COMMUNITY
MBABANE - Eswatini TV, in partnership with Easy Buy, Prime Bakery, and Century Fashions, donated parcels to the Mangwaneni Umphakatsi in Mbabane on Friday, July 26.
The donations were specifically for the needy members of the Mangwaneni community, including elderly people and those with disabilities. The parcels included 33 blankets donated by HRH Inkhosikati LaNkambule, 50 loaves of bread, 33 food hampers and clothes left at umphakatsi for the community to distribute to those in need. Mohammed Asraful Alam Chowdhury, the owner of Easy Buy and Century Fashions, expressed his belief in giving back to the community, emphasising the importance of social responsibility and giving back to the nation, especially to their customers who support them.

During an interview with Chowdhury he said, “We are glad to be part of the social work done by Eswatini TV and it is our responsibility to also give back to the nation because these community members are our customers and they always support us.”The donations were appreciated by the residents, with James Khanyile of Mangwaneni umphakatsi expressing gratitude for the parcels, particularly during the winter season. Nonhlanhla Mavuso, on behalf of Gogo Dube, also expressed gratitude for the donations, mentioning that Gogo Thandi Dube would be delighted to receive her blanket and food parcels. This initiative reflected the commitment of local businesses and organisations to support and uplift their communities, especially those in need.
