MAKHADZI ALL BLACK ADDS BIG NUZ, MORE

MBABANE – The dance and music queen, SA’s Makhadzi will dish out killer moves for the All Black Exclusive at the Rock Lifestyle at Sibebe Resort on Friday including Big Nuz and Bello no Galo.  

News of the star performing at the venue was announced around the fourth this month by the event’s organiser, and Sibebe Resort Manager Themba Thwala, who mentioned that the event was going to be epic. The supporting acts  will include; Big Nuz, Bello no Galo, AyaCity, Lady Zee, the Bishops, Bandzie, Maphi, Big Boi, Thubillion, Rowen the VTH and the Drum Rhythm just to name a few and Onicah will be the  MC.  It will be Bello no Galo’s first time to perform in the kingdom. The ‘Khula’ hitmakers’ song and music video is most popular in South Africa.

Acts

It is worth noting that the added SA’s Big Nuz will be represented by the sole remaining member Danger. Big Nuz was a SA Kwaito trio from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, founded in 2002. The group was consisted of three members namely; Mandla Maphumulo aka Mampintsha, Mzi Tshomela aka Danger and Sbu Khomo aka R Mashesha. Mampintsha passed away on December 24 last year, while Mashesha died August 7, in 2015. It will not be Makhadzi’s  first time in the kingdom this year, and every time she takes to the stage the star leaves the crowd yearning for more, even shouting out her name. The artist is also know to extend the time she is allocated on stage and after a show she had done, she mentioned how she gives the people what they want and if they want more she gives them more. Gates will open at 6pm for the event and E300 gets you into the venue and this price is inclusive of a six pack.

Makhadzi’s star power and stage presence has made her a fan favourite across Mzansi and the continent at large. With a fairly new album, she has been travelling and promoting the album in various countries like Botswana, Namibia and Malawi to name a few.  Her social media accounts are verified as she has a huge following, from her hometown Limpopo, all over Mzansi and the rest of the continent, including Eswatini. Her Instagram account alone has over 640 000 followers and 462 000 on Twitter. Born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, known by her stage name Makhadzi, was born and raised in Ha-Mashamba, Limpopo, she is best known for her songs ‘Tshanda Vhuya’ and ‘Matorokisi’.

Successes

Makhadzi’s 2020 album Kokovha became one of her biggest successes and debuted at number one on the South African iTunes albums charts. It contained the chart-topping singles ‘Amadoda’, ‘Mphemphe’, ‘Kokovha’ and ‘Tshikwama’. Her career started at the age of 12, used to perform at taxi ranks, getting money from people’s offerings. In 2019, Makhadzi was featured by Master KG on a song titled ‘Tshikwama’, released off the album Jerusalema. At the sixth ceremony of All Africa Music Awards, she received a nomination for Best Female Artist in South Africa and has gone back to dating his old-time bae, Master KG.
