MBABANE – South African musician Thina Zungu shared with this publication that his fans should  expect a new joint album from him and his son Ndumiso Zungu.

The award winning musician recently performed with his son at the Mother of All Gospel Shows live recording, which was held at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre Main Hall on Saturday. Fans were blown away by their great performance as the son easily managed to match his father’s vocals and also led him in some of the songs, which they performed during the show. Thina Zungu said that he was preparing to have an album with Ndumiso as a way to support him and grow him in the industry. “I am much excited to see my son following his dream at this age. People should expect a father and son project soon.

Coming

“It is definitely coming soon as I have been planning it for a while now.  I cannot say the date yet, but this will be the next thing that fans will get in terms of music from me. “With this project, I will be just supporting him as a parent, I am not forcing him. He loves it, he enjoys it and people are continuously recognising his talent. I am proud to see him doing what he is doing,” Zungu said. “Everyone can testify that he has a talent, so as a father, I am just supporting him to become the person he wishes to be in the industry. People are enjoying his vocals and they love him,” he added. During the course of the interview, Zungu also asked to thank Nduduzo Matse for bringing new faces into the local industry. “I am grateful to Nduduzo for putting up a show like this. It is always a pleasure working with him, and I heard that he is helping young people to get into the industry.

Bless

“This is very kind of him and may God bless his heart. I know how difficult it is to get into the industry, but Nduduzo has just made it easy for these young people. “May God protect him and bless him while he is opening the doors for others. I am happy that I have been part of the show as well as the work that Nduduzo is doing for young people. Eswatini will forever be my second home, it is always a pleasure to be in this country,” Zungu said.
