MBABANE – Uncle Waffles’ fans can expect a comedy, laid-back and entertaining 15 minutes and 40 seconds VLOG entry on YouTube about her Eswatini Red Dragon Den’s event.

Short for a video blog or video log, a vlog is a blog in video form where a person regularly posts short videos of what they are doing, sometimes in real time. The posted vlog is essentially a preparation and travel vlog that was posted by Chelsea Sloan, who is a dancer and has been said to be Uncle Waffle’s double. The video draws fans in on all the preparations that Uncle Waffles went over for her first ever show in the kingdom after she blew up and became an international superstar. It also features club host Caramel Dank, Kamo Mphela, TXN and many more South African (SA) artists and influencers, who were part of the show.

At the beginning of the video, Sloan mentions how she was approached by Lungelihle Zwane, better known as Uncle Waffles and gives detail to the weeks of preparations that they went through. The comment section which has already reached over 1 000 interactions, saw fans happy about seeing the dance rehearsal, which gave them a glimpse into the dancers’ real life and the preparations or a show.

Another exciting aspect for fans was the journey from South Africa (SA) into Eswatini and the commentary section by the artists and influencers, who had never been in the kingdom before. In the video Caramel Dank, who is also from Eswatini but has taken residency in SA acted as a very informative tour guide, who explained each interesting place to them. Some of the sights seen on the vlog are; Oshoek Border Post, Happy Valley Hotel and House on Fire among other places. The King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium was picked out as an interesting venue for Waffle’s next show where Dank mentioned that it would be the first since locally stadiums were not used for entertainment shows. The vlog has since been shared by all the artists who were part of the show, including Waffles.
