CLEOPATRA ELIGIBLE FOR TRIPLE CROWN AWARD

MBABANE – After winning big at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards 2022, Cleopatra Methula is now eligible for the in The Country Music.

A Triple Crown Award is available across all entertainment and sports sectors. It is basically used to describe individuals who have won a collection of huge awards in their fields and is the highest accolade recognised in music, film, television, and theatre, respectively. So far this year only 24 people, 15 women and nine men have achieved the Triple Crown and qualify for it. The local songbird back in 2019, brought home the Texas Sounds International Double Award. She is the first female country musician to win and perform at Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards.

Methula won the very same award over the past weekend. In 2019, she won two awards at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards; ‘Best International Rising Country Star Award’ and ‘Best International Duo’ for her collaboration with Temlandvo ‘Miss T’ Methula.  She also won a South African (SA) Country Music Award. This was her third win at the Texas Sounds Awards Popularly known as ‘Misses Roses’, Cleopatra is also the most decorated Country singer in Eswatini, she has bagged the most international awards  amongst all her counterparts from the kingdom.  Methula has won competitions and other awards, where she received trophies and similar prizes. Texas Sounds is a production of East Texas Performing Arts, Inc. a nonprofit corporation.In 2014 the concept of a worldwide country music competition was launched in the little tourist town of Jefferson, Texas. The concept matured quickly into one of the most exciting country music events anywhere in the world. That first year, top performers came from eight nations to compete. In the intervening years Texas Sounds has grown to attract the very best Country musicians from more than 15 nations!
