UNCLE WAFFLES’ MANAGER CO-SIGNS AYACITY

MBABANE – Local DJ AyaCity was co-signed by Uncle Waffles manager on Instagram last week.

Born Ayanda Motsa, AyaCity recently released his music video for his hit single ‘Ungendzantoni’. The DJs’ single dropped late last year. Motsa recently had a gig in South Africa (SA) following his bookings where he earned an opportunity to play at the Hangawt Thembisa owned by SA DJ Shimza. Uncle Waffle’s manager Mzukisi Siwundla popularly known as Zeus Omega who is the owner of media company Kreative Kornerr, a management agency which he co-owns with Thato Tlhankana.  AyaCity was co-signed in a video captured by Zeus while the DJ was playing a blazing solid set at BK Lodge.

When reached for comment following the co-signing, AyaCity expressed that he was motivated. “I obviously feel motivated because it means my work is being recognised internationally. I mean, it’s been happening more often, in the United Kingdom (UK) as well, just recently they posted videos of me playing, so yeah I’m quite happy with how I’m progressing,”said the DJ. He went on to say that he also had a few international gigs lined up already. He further said that he was overwhelmed by Zeus Omega’s co-sign, and revealed that this was the kind of feedback that kept him going and holding it down in the local as well as international entertainment industry. “Yeah it motivates and keeps me going every day , waking up to such news almost week in week out , that’s how I track my progress” AyaCity added. The 10 seconds video posted by Zeus shows AyaCity delivering an epic set on the turntables, it was complemented by the energetic crowd was who enjoyed the performance at  BK Lodge.
