MBABANE – Musician Illa Penboy is back with another hit single called Vula Bavalile.

The track in five days reached 1200 views on YouTube. Born Sifiso Ndlangamandla the philanthropist doesn’t let anything stop him when it comes to making a change in people’s lives.  
“It’s important that I draw and reflect on the life I journeyed through, to tell a story that people can relate to when they play my song. Vula Bavalile is one of those songs that tells story,” said the artist. He went on to say that this song in particular will make people reflect on how far they’ve come and continue to shine brighter. Vula Bavalile is his personal story that talks a about his upbringing up in rural Emphatheni, to places of growth that established him as a personal brand, promoter and now a philanthropist.

Motivation

“This song is more than just a song, It’s a dose of motivation to those who look up to me and follow my work, that even though doors are closed, I have this strong determination to open them,” he added. The artist has managed to prove that if you keep trying, you will see change and get closer to your dreams. Meanwhile, Illa Penboy is bringing the Donate a Bread Festival in August. The artist shared about his commitment to helping the needy. “I am committed to charity work; hence with Donate Bread Festival coming back, I’m looking forward to having people sing along. It will be nice to have a music video for people to not only listen, but also get the message from relatable scenes,” said the singer. The singer mentioned that this is a very special project to him and the entire Illa Penboy Foundation because it’s the first social event aimed at advancing his charity drives. Donate a Bread Festival is focused on raising school shoes, it targets 10 000 students.

Beneficiaries

The shoes will be donated to local schools where beneficiaries will be identified. He went on to invite companies to be part of this project by securing stalls on the day of the event. He further went to say bringing people together for a social because helps reach the goal faster. Individuals are also welcome to interact, engage with companies and contribute their part in changing young lives.
