MBABANE – Limpopo-born stars Makhadzi and Master KG have been confirmed as headliners for the Epic Weekend of Motorsport.

Taking place from July 1-3, 2022 at Riders Ranch, the event will see the ‘Di Boya Limpopo’ hitmakers performing some of their hit songs. It is worth noting though that this will be the second time Makhadzi performs locally, as she last performed at Solani’s Shisanyama a month ago. In an interview with one of the organisers Tata Myeni, he confirmed both artists were coming to the event and further mentioned that more details of the event would be announced leading up to the three-day event. “I can confirm that Makhadzi and Master KG will be performing in the country. We are yet to reveal two more artists for the show, including details of when all artists will perform,” he said. Myeni further added that the show would not only be centred around the international acts as there were also motorsport activities that would form part of the weekend’s entertainment. This includes South African spinners Big Zenzi, RSA 4 Pipe, Lemis (female spinner from Barbeton) and Red Bull Shay’ iMoto 2020 champion, King Katra.

Activities

Other local spinners will also be present as they will include Team Swazi, Team Brema, Masina Brothers, King Shaka, Samson, Suid Crew, Danger, Mbondvo, Twister Machine and Ruddy to name a few. The day will also consist of fun activities for members of the public which will consist of drag races and awards for best old school car, best clean engine and fastest car.
