SA’S LADY DU FOR XCHANGE

MBABANE – No rest for fun lovers as it will yet be another hip and happening weekend.

Renowned Manzini entertainment and lifestyle establishment XChange Lounge and Shisanyama will be hosting one of South Africa’s queen of Amapiano, Lady Du. Real name Duduzile Ngwenya, the ‘U-Zuma Yi Star’ hitmaker recently won Best Female Artist at the first annual South African Amapiano Awards and she will be performing for the first time in the kingdom. The event is slated for this coming Friday (January 28, 2022) at the XChange Lounge and Shisanyama. The show is expected to attract throngs of Lady Du’s fans as it will be the second show where an artist from outside our borders has been booked to perform since the beginning of the year 2022.

Performer

It is worth noting that South African house music producer; DJ Melzi graced the venue two weeks ago. Lady Du, who has been one of the most booked female vocalist/dancer and performer in South Africa during the festive season, currently has her songs on high rotation on  radio stations including songs she is featured on like ‘Bheka Mina Ngedwa’, Batlao Hurda, and Woza. She will entertain the audience alongside Aya City, Illa Penboy, Charlie SD, Team Amapiano Dancers and XChange resident deejays. The event  is expected to  start from 6pm and tickets will cost E100 for general and E200 for VIP. The tickets will not be available on pre-sale but will be sold at the gate. Lady Du is a South African Amapiano artist and DJ. She started working on her music career since she was nine years old but struggled to gain recognition in the competitive music scene in Mzansi. She had her breakout many years later in 2020 after almost giving up.

Passion

Lady Du (30) was born in 1991 in Vosloorus, Gauteng, South Africa, where she also grew up. Her father is DJ Choc, a veteran RnB disc jockey. He influenced her passion for music.
Her brother @siphosomething is an entrepreneur, model and road manager. The award-winning Amapiano artist has released and appeared as a featured artist on several tracks and these include:
