MBABANE - Spreading hope through the gospel.

Local gospel singer Linda Mkhonta has officially released a single titled ‘Ukhona Unkulunkulu.’  In an interview with the publication, he said the song was inspired by true life experiences.
Mkhonta said he saw it fit to compose a song that would bring hope to the people.  “The current pandemic has halted so many sectors and has affected a lot of people. This song will bring hope to those who are weary. It serves as a reminder of the great deeds of the almighty. As a country, he knows our challenges and has a solution. I am just ministering hope, we will smile someday,” he said.

Mkhonta went on to plead with the nation to pray. He said during these trying times, it was very important for us to pray and seek the goodness of the Lord.  “These trying times are a motivation for us to seek the Lord. May our troubles bring us closer to Him. As a nation, we need to plead for his mercy and also give him all the glory,” he added. It is worth noting that Mkhonta is not new in the gospel music fraternity. He has graced many local stages and South African platforms. On his recent single, he said he had worked with gifted people who made his vision come true. “I would also like to thank my team, they made my vision come to pass. I am positive that gospel music lovers will enjoy this song and be ushered into the presence of the Lord,” he said. The song is available on all digital stores.
