MBABANE – Hoisting the country’s flag.

The current COVID-19 pandemic has halted the entertainment industry forcing entertainers to wear their creative caps to keep the sector alive. Some of the locals have defied all odds and hoisted the country’s flag as they had managed to keep the sector alive. Eswatini-born model Coliswa Mabila has bagged the Miss Red title in South Africa. The pageant seeks to empower young people.

Excitement

In an interview with   Mabila, she expressed her excitement and shared that this would create more opportunities.  “I am humbled by the achievement and I know that this title will open so many doors for me despite the current COVID-19 pandemic that has halted the entertainment sector. I am also proud that I have hoisted the country’s flag and I hope my achievement will inspired others,” she said. Mabila took home prizes amounting to E150 000 and a two-year modeling contract at True Self modeling agency based in South Africa.
