SPOTLIGHT JUDGES APPLAUD GROWTH

EZULWINI- The three main judges of the Spotlight Season 3 music competition have applauded the development of this year’s contestants in terms of their music talent.

The judges made these comments during the Top 8 eliminations held on Sunday under the theme House Music, where they were joined by Guest Judge Mdura.
When Nobesuthu Zungu took to stage the judges expressed their satisfaction with her growth noting that each week she was developing. The same comments were given to Nonjabulo Magagula as well as Mnqobi Nkambule and others.

Worth mentioning is that the contestants are taken through a lot of mentoring during the stages of the competition. This past week KrTC taught them on the four pillars of being a great artist while others motivated them as artists on how to be great performers and to develop confidence. Phakamile Peekay Dlamini was applauded for improving in terms of her pitch. “In the past you had issues with your pitch but now I can see that you have improved and that is good to see,” said Judge Ndumiso Dlamini.

Each week they also go through rehearsals to ensure that they get familiar with their songs. The Spotlight Season 3 is powered by MTN Eswatini with other sponsors and partners like Nandos, Destiny Group, Mantenga Lodge, Super Signs, Sitiba’s Hair and Makeup, Eswatini Tourism Authority (ETA), Huawei, Eswatini TV, KrTC of Hip Hop Clothing, and Lifespan Diagnostics.

The next eliminations will be towards Top 6 and this is all a build up to the Top 3 Grand Finale.
