FOO, KEYS CREATE MELODIC SOUND

MBABANE - Adrienne Foo joins effort with South African musician Musa Keys on a catchy sound which is out for public consumption.

‘Wena’ is the title given to the song by the super gifted musician Adrienne Foo on stage. Born Nomfundo Sibandze, Adrienne Foo said this song was recorded with a great effort to make it a captivating tune. Musa Appreciate Makamu is from Ivy Park and his talent has gained recognition across South Africa with his hit music. He has been making music for the past seven years and he recalled that despite the waves that he is currently making, he produced his first song at the age of 14 years.

The ‘Vula Mlomo’ hit maker, through his tweet on social media expressed his excitement about the collaboration. He also applauded Foo for her talent. The track is already available on all digital stores including one of the biggest platforms Spotify.
The platform is a Swedish audio streaming and media services provider founded in April 2006 by Daniel Ek. It is the world’s largest music streaming service provider, with over 365 million monthly active users, including 165 million paying subscribers.
Spotify offers digital copyright restricted recorded music and podcasts, including more than 70 million songs, from record labels and media companies. Spotify is available in most of Europe and the Americas, Oceania and more than 40 countries in Africa as of July 2021.

The above mentioned substantiates that Foo’s craft is on an international platform ranking alongside with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Maroon 5. The Weekend and Bruno Mars to mention a few.  It is worth noting that the single will not be the first biggest collaboration. She has also collaborated with DJ Maphorisa who showed interest in her music which she had posted as a teaser on the popular social media page Twitter. Exploring

Being an RnB artist has not held the artist back from exploring any other genre as this latest feature is an amapiano kind which gained prominence in late 2018. She has made appearances on prominent stages in Eswatini as in 2014 she performed at the internationally acclaimed Swazi Jive event titled HipNotik Festival. The artist is also independent after parting ways with Swazi Jive Records last year in September. Worth noting is the string of projects that the artist has worked on throughout her music career which spans over six years such as hit songs in her 10 track debut album titled ‘In My Head’ which includes ‘Divine’, ‘AdrienneCardiFoo’ as well as ‘Die for Me’. In 2016 she released a music video of her song ‘Dangerous’ which made it to over 100 000 views on popular video streaming site YouTube as well as making a performance in Las Vegas, USA in 2019.
