KRTC OF HIP HOP UNLEASHED

MBABANE - Hip hop is the most vibrant and cultural art you will ever come across.

Fun lovers were served with good music during a show dubbed ‘KrTC Unleashed’ hosted by Platinum Concepts in partnership with Music Blaq. Headlined by KrTC, whose real name is Thamsanqa Sibandze, he took revellers on a musical journey through his set. The veteran of hip hop music re introduced the vibrant and cultural aspect of the genre. Before the show began, fun lovers were sanitiSed and were reminded to adhere to all the health protocols.  The event set up was outdoor, where people were able to move around and also practise social distancing. The main act had a great live band that gave fun lovers their money’s worth. KrTC shared all his relevant hit songs and also rendered poems that left the crowd yearning for more.

Poems

Denzel, who also did a collaboration with the main act, poured out his heart out on stage. People were jamming and enjoying the mouth-watering dishes served. Fresh music was the order of the night; music lovers were privileged to hear some of the unreleased songs.  It is worth noting that KrTC was also celebrating his birthday and his friends ensured that he had a great time. One of the local talented artists Oxygen also shared a gift with the main act. The crowd celebrated with him by singing a birthday song and gave him a cake. In an interview with one of the revellers Siwe Mdluli, she expressed her excitement and shared that she had a great time.
“I like the fact that they were able to adhere to all the health regulations set. I felt safe and I had so much fun,” he said.

Event

Zitsile Dlamini also concurred with Mdluli and shared that it was her first time attending an event during the pandemic. “I am a huge fan of hip hop and KrTC brought his best. He was amazing and I would also like to wish him many more years,” she added. Linda Siwela commended the band for giving them memories through their thrilling sets. “The live band was amazing; Eswatini is a home of great talent. I really enjoyed every minute even though it was short. We actually appreciate what the government has done for the entertainment industry, we are now able to destress in a safe environment,” he said. The show only lasted for two hours and the night ended on a high note.
