MTN GIVES BACK TO SOCIAL MEDIA USERS

EZULWINI – In the year 2021 mobile networking company MTN is doing the most for local social media users.

Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok users countrywide stand a chance to win great prizes by using the telephone mobile network. 

Announcing the news on their Facebook page, the network conglomerate said the users of the popular social media networking site stood the chance to win smartphones as well as cash prizes on the Mobile Money platform. 

This is part of their ‘Do the Most’ campaign, which was launched at the beginning of this year.

The campaign introduced cheaper prices for data costs as well as an array of other exciting products for entertainment during the lockdown. 

Users simply have to download the social networking apps on their phones to stand a chance.

They also need to make sure they recommend the apps to at least three of their friends.

Furthermore they need to send a screenshot of the three apps as well as their phone numbers to 7606 0247 on WhatsApp to be part of a weekly draw.

The promotional advert also reads that activity on the apps is required to increase chances of winning the weekly draw.

MTN Chief Executive Officer Wandile Mtshali said it was such an honour for the company to be able to demonstrate to their customers that they could rely on the network, wherever and doing whatever they liked.

Moreover, Boykie Dlamini, an Instagram user said he was excited about the competition.

“I am looking forward to winning and more than anything I believe that this competition will improve my social media presence,” he said. 

Tholakele Simelane, who is a Tik Tok user shared that she was excited since being a user of the network came with amazing prizes.

Facebook users were also not left out from celebrating this competition as Langa Maphalala said since using the network, he had seen great improvement on how they took care of their customers.

“We are well taken care of and it seems there is more where this comes from,” he said. 

Being a content creator, Simelane said she wanted to win the prizes up for grabs.

Among other entertainment products, the campaign also announced a partnership with Eswatini TV, where they would introduce an app for watching television programmes. Currently, MTN Eswatini has been in the frontline creating packages that will benefit people for entertainment during the lockdown set by government to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
