RAPPER ANTICLOKWIZZ WANTS TO PREACH THE GOSPEL

MBABANE – Preaching the gospel through rap music.

AntiClokWizZ is a young, talented and ambitious rapper, songwriter and performing artist born and raised in kaLiba, Hosea in the Shiselweni Region. 

The rapper, whose real name is Celimphilo Mncedisi Maziya draws his inspiration from various renowned artists such as A-reece, NF and local rappers such as 80 Script and Diba Diba. 

The rapper started writing songs back in primary school, however, he revealed that things were not easy for him as he had no support and nowhere to record his music. 

Talent

He met Boykid, a producer at Final Episodes Records ‘FER’, who helped him nurture his talent. 

AntiClokWizZ further mentioned that he did not just write songs but also used them as a medium to communicate very touching and important life messages

He shared that he was currently an Environmental Health and Food Science student at UNESWA in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Mbabane Campus. 

The rapper is looking forward to releasing his first official EP titled ‘God is Alive’ next year, which will comprise about five powerful songs, including his newly-released ‘Praise God’ debut song, featuring rapper M-Switch and ElseWhere Tha Gospel Poet.

He stated that visuals of the track would be out before the end of this year. 

“This EP is dedicated to reviving the spiritual aspect of individuals and will act as a reminder to Christians that God is still in charge of their lives and that they should continue maintaining a strong foundation of faith,” he said. 

Success

With the help of Final Episode Records and Producer BoykidD, who runs the label, he anticipates great success of his first ever Extended Play.

The rapper also took a moment to pass his sincere appreciation to everyone, who supported him in all his career endeavours and also promises to heal torn souls through his upcoming EP. 

In the upcoming EP he said he was still to choose, which local artists he could feature including Eimsofly, Switch and Two3 Bars.

He also looks forward to being recognised as one of the artists who will change the life of most emaSwati through his music.
