MTN SWAMA DEMYSTIFIES FAQS

MBABANE – As the deadline for sending nominations for the 4th MTN SWAMA Awards draws nearer, the organisers have released a comprehensive list of frequently asked questions.

This, according to the Public Relations Officer, Bongani ‘DJ Tizalami’ Dube, is aimed at demystifying the two-tier process. 

“This year’s nominations are being sent by either SMS or the brand new Ayoba  app, which is proving to be a hit with many,” he said. 

Revealed at the launch of the awards two weeks ago, MTN CEO Wandile Mtshali said the Ayoba app worked free of charge on the MTN Eswatini network, and was in line with the awards’ theme ‘#AsibeDigital’. 

Dube revealed that nomination for the awards would end this coming Friday and successful nominees would be revealed at the Digital Nominees Party scheduled for October 31, 2020 on Eswatini TV, MTN Eswatini and SWAMA Facebook pages as well as on YouTube channels. 

He said record statistics would be revealed this week and in addition to that there had been recurring questions from some artists, which brought the move to compile these FAQs and their responses for the benefit of all other artists, who still wished to enter for this year’s event.
