MBABANE – Ghanaian born Swazi recording and performing artist, Skinny G is a developing artist under G-Stars Entertainment and Projects.

His music is defined by a unique blend of afro-beats and fascinating lyrics. He redefines modern day artistry, staying true to his western and southern African heritage as he navigates between both experiences.

Making the revelation of the new signee was the entertainment stable’s founder Gino Kash.
Gino Kash said the artist stood out and had a promising career in the music and entertainment industry. He described his music as the future with boundaries of age, sex and religion.

“His publishing credits took centre stage in 2018 when he was featured by South Africa’s dynamic issue, Hype Magazine. He also made it through to MTN Pulse Firefly, which he joined this year to stand a chance to perform alongside Nasty C at the MTN Pulse Firefly Soundstorm,” said Gino Kash.
Sharing his views on the matter, Skinny G said he prided himself as one of the few artists to possess a unique sound. He revealed that he drew inspiration from seasoned African acts like Davido, Sarkodie, Nasty C, Gemini Major as well as Mr Eazi.

Skinny G currently has a single titled SODV, which is slated for online distribution by one of the globally recognised record labels.
The song has been made available on MTN Callertunes. “I am excited about the recognition as a developing artist and I am focused on making music to secure a fan base at this point of my career,” he shared.
