MBABANE – Emmkai is set to release an extended play (EP) titled ‘I was Born for It’.

The rapper, whose real name is Nkosenhle Mbulenhle Masuku, hails from Hluthi in the Shiselweni Region.
Speaking to the Entertainment Desk, he said in the EP he would be sharing about his life through the music.

“My EP talks a lot about struggle and how people tend to give up on their dreams because of the lack of opportunities to pursue them,” he said.
He shared that with his understanding of life and struggle, he wanted his music to serve as a beacon of hope for other upcoming artists to know that they could use their talents to succeed in life.

“No one was born empty handed but I believe that everyone was born with God’s blessings in their lives which came in the form of talents that everyone was obligated to find out,” he remarked.
Emmkai revealed that having discovered his talent in music, he needed the support from music lovers in the country so that he could become the person that he envisioned in his dreams.

Upcoming

The upcoming EP, has a total of eight tracks that the artist hopes will open doors for him.
He stated that the EP would be available on audiomack for those who prefered digital stores and copies would also be available for those who prefered compact discs.

Emmkai said he would be working with various artists who were still underground rappers like himself.
“I started from the bottom and I am still there but I am aiming to get to the top.
“I’m working on a song with a friend of mine called Offspring as we are members of the Swazi Vibe Gang and we have been featured by a Malawian vocalist who recognised our work,” he highlighted.

Collaboration

In conclusion, the artist  mentioned that there would be a collaboration with Admure from Malawi as well as C’viva from Angola and MC Rock from Namibia.
I could say we will be representing the kingdom.
