FRANKIE SPOTTED AT SOMHALE UNION
MBABANE – Seen and Heard! Eswatini’s queen diva socialite Frankie Dlamini has always maintained his friendships with some of South Africa’s A-list celebrities, who are some of the people he met in his primes.
This is none other than Somizi Mhlongo, who he has remained friends with for so many years after they met through his cousin at her party.
The socialite was spotted in a clip of Mhlongo’s wedding which was aired on Mzansi Magic, channel 161 on Monday evening, when he married his sweetheart Mohale Motaung in an elegant star studded traditional wedding.
The show is a four part wedding special that shares the couple’s journey to their eventual white wedding that took place earlier this year.
The exclusive wedding extravaganza which took place in September 2019 at Kibler Park in Johannesburg, South Africa was one to remember as guests came dressed in high fashionable clothes.
Dlamini was spotted in the special mingling with the South African celebrities that had attended the wedding which included Bonang Matheba, Nhlanhla Nciza, Nomuzi Mabena and Pearl Thusi.
Television
Local social media users were left asking themselves if it was really Dlamini that they were seeing on the television show and some of his close friends who are on Facebook confirming that it was indeed him.
In a brief interview with the Entertainment Desk, Dlamini confirmed that he did attend the event and was more than delighted to see all the people he met at the wedding. He revealed that the opulence that was at the wedding really fascinated him as everyone else that attended felt warm towards sharing the special day with the two.
Dlamini is famously known in Eswatini as a flamboyant MC at events and festivals across the country, with dance moves that are out of this world which leave revellers intrigued that an actual person can dance like that.
Over the years, the socialite’s spark has not been dimmed as he still does make appearances at events as an MC, as his last gig was at the Summer Festival of Colour which was held at the Riders’ Ranch in December by Toxik Entertainment and saw performances from Eswatini’s best hip hop and afro soul as well as South Africa’s Mlindo the Vocalist.
