MBABANE – ACAESWA members and non-members who are gospel artists have been invited!

In the spirit of unity among gospel music artists in the country and beyond, the new National Executive Committee (NEC) to the Association of Christian Artists in Eswatini (ACAESWA) has invited all gospel music artists to a get together on February 8. This invitation extends to non-members of the said entity, alumni and aspiring members.

The get together, which will also be a brainstorming session on how to improve the industry in the country, will be held at the Rest Camp at Hhelehhele in Manzini.

Revealing the news was ACAESWA President Phetsile Masilela, who said the association has rebranded and would launch the new name on the same day.
“The three year strategic plan, the code of conduct for the association and finance manual. You are cordially invited to grace this event.

Remobilise

“The launch will also be merged with a get together for all gospel artists in the country. This is meant to remobilise all artists to join the association, hence both members and non-members are invited to attend,” she said.
The event will be from 10am to 3pm.

“We will also have games during the event. Artists are encouraged to come so they have fun together as the year begins.”
For subscribed members the entrance is free, non-subscribed members are requested a contribution of E50.
The association changed their name from ESWACA (Eswatini Association of Christian Artists to ACAESWA (Association of Christian Artists in Eswatini) last month.

The change happened barely six months after the association changed their name from ACASWA to ESWACA which this publication wrote about.
Also, ACAESWA has released a Code of Ethics and Conduct booklet which members will get to review on the day of the meet.
