MANZINI – Janu-worry for who?

The most stressful month to many, was proven to be the most fun time to chill and enjoy good music at the Xchange lounge and shisanyama, last Saturday.  Fun lovers were enjoying good music served by local and upcoming DJs. They were out with their friends and families. Judging by their expressions and dance moves they had a great time.  They saw the thrilling performances of KL, Sbu, Shibz , Bunny, Orthodox and Bello to name a few.  Mdura, who is an upcoming amapiano DJ, gave a spectacular performance through his set.
He set the mood as revellers started dancing and the pouncing cat was the order of the night.

Linda Dlamini, who was one of the revellers, said he could not  wait to listen to Mdura in the next two years.  “That boy is talented, I am glad that the Xchange is giving upcoming artists a podium to showcase their talent. Mdura is not the only one I spotted KL is young and talented also,” he said. Nokwazi Simelane concured with what Linda mentioned and also shared that the Xchange would be one of the best hangout spots.

Amazing

“I am from Mbabane , I love this place and I had so much fun without an international act, It was amazing,” she said.  Nokwazi Nhleko from kaKhoza said she could not wait for next week.  “I am already excited about next week, I want to come back here,” she said. The ambiance of the venue which was chilled and intimate allowed the revellers to dance with their friends and also showcase their crazy dance moves. Two of the revellers that caught the publications attention were dancing a rare move as they were both on their knees twerking.
One would assume that it was still the festive season as the crowd was jolly.  One of the resident DJ’s Robert Shiba mentioned that the Xchange was all about empowering local artists to eradicate poverty and improve the economical state of the country by creating job opportunities.  “Having more upcoming local artists gives them the opportunity to grow and to also make a living out of their talent,” he said. All the DJ’s gave a killer performance and patrons danced the night away as they wrapped up the weekend.
