MISS TEEN REGISTRATION STILL ON

MBABANE - It’ s still on. The Miss Teen Eswatini pageant was postponed from last year to this year.
 Pageants Eswatini President, Catrien Potgieter yesterday confirmed to this publication that Miss Teen is still on.


 “The call for Miss Teen contestants is still on, by the end of the month we will be having contestant,” she said.
 The application deadline is set to be on January 31, 2020.
“All interested young girls aged between 14 to 17 years old should collect their application forms at Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC) or call me at 7614 3621,” she said.


 She went on to add that this year they were looking at making the pageant bigger and better with the support of the nation. 
“We are still going to meet with the organising team, to discuss the prizes and what our main winners will benefit with their roles each of them is expected to execute,” she added.


 It is worth noting that the reigning Miss Teen Tyra Johnson, who was crowned back in 2017, has had the crown for the past two years.
 She has left a mark with her charity work and her zeal to help empower young people.


The First Princess of Miss Teen Emihle Dzimba shared her experience and encouraged young people to jump for this opportunity as she has learnt a lot in tern of self grow and motivation.
