MBABANE - Bigger God.

Local hip hop gospel artist Switch, real name Mkhulisi Khumalo, is back after a two-year absence in the music industry. Switch has already dropped a single titled ‘Bigger God’ the track features an artist from Malawi and one from South Africa. When asked what the Bigger God track is about, Switch said it was basically a track about how great God was and what was different about it was the fact that it was sung in different languages so that the audience would be able to praise Him in different languages. When asked what he had been doing for the past two years, Switch said that, he had been concentrating on his studies since he is enrolled at the University of Eswatini as a Social Science student. He also mentioned that he would be graduating next year.

Expect

When asked if fans could expect an album from him, Switch said “Yes fans should expect an album; that will drop early next year.’’ Furthermore, Switch revealed that the upcoming album is going to be called ‘YOU’ which is an abbreviation for ‘You Only Understand’. Switch further mentioned that some collaborations had been confirmed and most notable from that list was Bholoja. When called for a comment on the collaboration with Switch, Bholoja said, “I am excited to work with a fellow liSwati and I am really looking forward to it, especially given the fact that I know the quality work that Switch produces.’’ Bholoja also revealed that it would be the first time both artists worked together even though they have performed alongside each other on stage before. Switch mentioned that the reason he had to put his music career on hold was because; it would have been difficult him for to juggle between his lessons and promoting an album.

The gospel artist has been labelled as one of the best artists that have ever come out of the country. He recently performed during the Back to the Cross fellowship.
