SIDVOKODVO - A lucky night for Cally Ramohlale as he took home a motorbike worth E150 000.

After five raffle draw attempts made by the Swazi Rally organiser Carlos Paiva together with the Head of WesBank Phumlani Nkambule and Ayandza Motsa from Galp the lucky winner was Ramohlale, all the way from Johannesburg, South Africa. The draw took place at around 9pm and those in attendance assembled in front of the stage hoping to be winners. On the other hand, during the day, the spinners track was the place to be as different biker clubs were competing against each other on the racing track.

Spinners

It was not only about the bikers but local and international cars spinners were on the track performing stunts that pulled a big crowd. As it was still women’s month, there were over five different women biker clubs as they came to Eswatini to celebrate women’s month. One of the biker clubs that stood out was Lilies bikers from Bloemfontein. The club comprised of married women only as their motive behind the club was to support their husband’s women’s club called Jungle Cats Riders.  There were different DJs spinning the deck throughout the day in the marquee and in the main hall. During the evening line-up Dusty and Stones, who performed at 8pm, stole the show with their sounds of country music. A lot of fun lovers that were part of this year’s Swazi Rally could not contain their excitement as they kept screaming for an encore a number of songs that were performed by the country duo.

Obliged

Gladly so, the group obliged to the audience’s and added more songs to their performance which lasted an hour and a half before the winners of the night were announced. On another note, Jan Horsley walked away with the title of Miss Swazi Rally 2019 after competing with other women bikers who took part in the pageantry. This was done on Saturday night where random ladies were invited on stage to take part in the five minutes pageant that was judged by the audience through screams and cheers. Horsley walked away with the title after the audience gave her the loudest of screams and cheers when it was judgement time.
