MBABANE - Nothing beats good food and rib-cracking jokes.

Mouth-watering dishes and hilarious jokes were served at Happy Valley Hotel last Friday at a show dubbed ‘Spring Comedy Night.’  The show was jam-packed with talented comedians Ngcozi Yebo, Church boy whose real name is Simunye Sikhakahane, Matewu and Mfundo ‘Ndosh’ Simelane. The show kick started on a high not as people packed patiently for the show to start while enjoying their different choice of drinks and snacks.  The crowd was welcomed by Ndosh, who kept them clued to their seats.

First to hit up the stage was none other than Ngcozi Yebo, who set the bar high, as he gave a spectacular performance sharing all relevant jokes.  The crowd easily related to his jokes as they were about a typical person trying to make means meet.   He left the crowd in stitches and yearning for more. What made his jokes hilarious was his sense of humour which filled the room.  As if that was not enough, Matewu killed it with his set.  His jokes were about life in general and how most people perceive issues they come across.  One of the main acts Church Boy from South Africa, famously known for his trending videos, gave comedy lovers theirs money’s worth , he literally took the crowd to church as he was sharing Bible related jokes.

Imitate

He did more than just imitate pastors, he even showed off killer dance moves.   The show ended on a high note as some of the revellers were taking pictures and some were still laughing at the jokes.  In an interview with Church Boy he said it was his first time in the country and he had so much fun.  “The whole event was amazing but I would like to urge people to support each other,” he said.  Matewu and Ngcozi Yebo also attested to having a great time and looking forward to being part of other show hosted in the country.  Ndosh, who was part of the organising team and also the master of ceremonies, thanked everyone who made the whole show a success.
