MBABANE – “The aim is to do the Lords work.” New gospel group, Spirit Quest will be hosting their second live recording dubbed ‘Quenching’ at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre June 29.

The gospel group’s producer, Bheki Khanyile said the live recording would be an experience of a lifetime for attendees as there had been a lot of planning and execution put towards making the event a success.

The experience will be one of a kind as they are targeting the marginalised in particular the school for the deaf in Matsetsa in the Lubombo Region.
This comes after discovering a gap in honouring the marginalised in most of the praise and worship activities in the gospel circle.
“Most of the time when we think of the marginalised what comes to our mind is giving them something, forgetting that we can also get something from them.

Worshipers

“We then decided to invite people to our live recording so that they can witness praise and worship which we will be in collaboration with the marginalised hence the reason why it is called ‘Inclusive Worship Experience’,” said Khanyile.

The event will also see the thrilling performance of Ncebakazi Msomi from Joyous Celebration, School for the deaf choir, Christ Worshipers, Dally Jesus Worshipers from South Africa, Sambulo Khumalo and the well-known wordsmith Ntobi Ndzabukelwako.

Khanyile also assured gospel music lovers of a good show they will always treasure.
“People should expect nothing but the best from us, we will be praising the most high,” he said.

He further thanked all the sponsors including the Bible Society, Eswatini National Youth Council, Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture, Tax Solution and Accounting Services, Pro learning and Hydro-Spec to name a few for supporting them and making their vision come true.
