MBABANE – Known as provocative dancers and entertainers of note, Zodwa Wabantu and Babes Wodumo are coming to Eswatini.

The two South Africa-born entertainers will be part of a line-up at a show that will be hosted for the first time dubbed ‘Baceth Hardware Music Festival’ set to take place on August 3 at Manzini club. This new festival will be hosted and organised by Baceth Hardware.

Baceth Hardware is a hardware store that has numerous branches across the country. Baceth Music Festival Public Relations Officer (PRO) Vusumuzi Maculuve said they were happy to host such a big festival as this is a way of building relations with the public.

Maculuve said the festival, which is yet to be officially launched, was motivated by the will of Baceth Hardware to engage into social responsibility programme that the store was undertaking. “The hardware store has been supported by many emaSwati and it felt the need to give back to them while engaging with them. This, then, gave birth to this music festival,” said Maculuve.

He then enlightened the Entertainment Desk that this festival will encompass a mixture of music genres so to meet the public’s different interests on the day.
He said the line-up included artists such as Babes Wodumo, dancer and MC Zodwa Wabantu, Master P, DJ Njebza, Mr Kangaroo local gospel music artists Shongwe and Khuphuka, Mduduzi Nezinceku Zamagawugawu, Ncandweni Christ Ambassadors, Shiba and the Travellers, Bishop Maculuve, Make Maculuve and many others which will be revealed at the launch that is yet to take place.
