MBABANE – BET award-winning Afro-pop musician, Sjava, to celebrate his achievements at Festival Xplosion.

The singer was unveiled as a headlining artist for the one-day festival by the event’s PRO Nontobeko Nxumalo. This follows the release of a first phase artist line-up which included South African maestro DJ/Producer Prince Kaybee and Eswatini’s celebrated DJs: Mbo and Wicked. The organisers rolled out the second phase artist line-up yesterday.

Nxumalo also revealed that physical tickets were now available at Pick n Pay Lojaf Kiosk: Mbabane New Mall, Matsapha Mahhala and Manzini Hub. The much-loved singer will be joined by Nomalungelo Dladla and Velemseni Ndzimandze. The two local musicians were announced as part of the performers together with the international star.

“We are excited to announce the second phase artist line-up as we catered for everyone when we selected the artists to perform during the event. We hope the people are happy and getting ready for the main day on July 27,” Nxumalo said.

Fresh from winning the Best Produced Album, Sjava, whose real name is Jabulani Hadebe, also confirmed that he had been booked to perform at the festival. The South African artist said Eswatini was more like home to him, however, he urged music lovers to expect a live performance they have never experienced before.

It won’t be the first time the award winning artist performs in the country as he performed during Hipnotik festival in 2017 and 2018; he also headlined a show at Solanis Shisanyama in September 2018.
