MBABANE - Work has officially begun! After being unveiled as one of the 11 artists who won the ‘Lift As You Rise’ competition, Eswatini rapper Msimisi Sithole is already in studio with Tall Racks Records artists including Nasty C and Gemini Major.

The recordings are being done in Cape Town, South Africa where the rapper has already been in studio with renowned rapper and music producer Zano D.
This dream came true to Sithole after weeks of deliberating over thousands of entries where Red Bull Music and Tall Racks Records chose 11 aspiring artists that would go into the Red Bull Music Recording Studios in Cape Town to record songs  as part of the ‘Lift As You Rise’ project.

Sithole is one of the 11 artists and he is currently in Cape Town where he is set to record with internationally renowned artists.
Made up of unstoppable forces Nasty C, Tellaman, Gemini Major, Rowlene, Lastee and Zino D, the Lift As You Rise project saw these artists come together to produce multiple open tracks.

These tracks incorporated verses from the collective artists, excluding 16 bars that allowed Africa’s up-and-coming artists to add their verses and subsequently completing the tracks.
These tracks will be released to the public soon after.

Sithole also confirmed that he was in Cape Town, stating that he was excited to be part of the 11.
“We are already recording and I cannot wait for the end product,” said Sithole.
