NOTHANDO HLOPHE TO TOUR SA AND THE UK

MBABANE – Award winning gospel singer Nothando Hlophe will embark on an international tour across South Africa and the United Kingdom.

The tour will also include a show in Manzini. Kicking off in Mpumalanga‘s Hendrina on June 1 with a wrap up on October 26 in Birmingham in the UK, the tour is set to leave a mark in the international gospel music scene. The tour is sponsored by her management company, Leserato Events.

Hlophe is currently promoting her new album titled ‘Nothando Hlophe Live at Soweto Theatre’ which was recently released.
Leserato Events confirmed that the gospel maestro would be flying off to represent the country at an international stage.

“We are looking forward to an exciting journey as we promote the recently released album. The response has been amazing so far, and we are looking forward to sharing Nothando’s music with people in different places,” she said.

She said besides rendering performances, the singer would also have radio interviews. The gospel singer will perform alongside Cape

Town based artist Lusanda Beja. Hlophe will be travelling with her Music Director Emmanuel Thapelo Makateng and will use a band prepared for her in the UK.
When contacted, the ‘Khulul’ ugcobo’ hitmaker failed to hide her excitement, as she confidently said she was ready to take her music to the rest of the world.
“I am excited at these opportunities to take my music, as Nothando, to different places. This will help a lot in growing me as an artist for sure. We did a full recording show in Soweto and now we are taking that project to different places,” she said.

She observed that the tour would push her out of her comfort zone.
“There’s so much benefit in going out of one’s comfort zone, experiencing new cultures, learning different approaches to music. I believe I will grow, both as a person and as an artist,” she added.
