CAMERON WARD SHINES AT GOSPEL MEETS JAZZ

EZULWINI – Live music is the best! This was proven by South African renowned guitarist Cameron Ward at the annual Gospel Meets Jazz show at Sibane Hotel in Ezulwini.


He was one of the last acts of the night and with every string that touched, musical bliss was rendered.
He was able to send the crowd into a nostalgic mood and also made them dance.


Ward is not new to the Eswatini crowd as he once performed at the first Gospel Meets Jazz event in 2017 and he also performed at the internationally renowned MTN BUSHFIRE Festival.


Grateful


Another sterling performance of the night was South African gospel music artist Putuma Tiso who sang his popular songs ‘You Are’ and ‘Grateful’ which made the crowd worship deeply. He also sang praise music songs which made the crowd dance.


Other singers which rendered world-class performances are South Africa’s Putuma Tisa and local pianist and artist Judah.
Zwwile the upcoming saxophonist proved why is he is one of the most booked artist in the country by engaging with the attendees while performing. Each note he pressed was received by great screams.


The ‘Gospel meets Jazz’ concept fuses two of the oldest genres in music to bring about an amazing spectacle for music lovers.


Amazing


This will appeal to people with a particular musical ear and lovers of live music and amazing skill. Renowned gospel musicians share the stage with renowned Jazz artists in this unique musical exhibition.


This is the second edition of the concert, with the first one in 2017 which was illuminated by the likes of; Nothando Hlophe, Cameron Ward, Bholoja, Nomalungelo, Thando Makaphela, and Judah.
