MBABANE - If you wish to hear many men jovially screaming ‘yebo’ simultaneously you better play deep house music!

Deep house music proved to be embraced mainly by men as the crowd at Solani’s Shisanyama in Mbabane on Sunday was mainly constituted by men. More than three-quarters of the crowd embraced internationally renowned Ralf Gum’s show and they cramped the venue ‘Like it was Dezember’. The cold and wet weather did not demotivate their spirit as they embraced deep house music which was rendered by local DJs. The tone of the night was set by Dope Deep, who rendered a fulfilling session which made the men at the venue shake their heads and whistle while at it. Following was Tonic Deep, who also rendered a sterling performance which wooed the crowd into the main arena, making the venue heat up in the cold.

He was later joined by South African vocalist Ayanda Jiya who sang their song ‘Sand castles’ which was released in 2017 in his album ‘Moving Circles’. German-born DJ Ralf Gum was last to invade the stage and he performed for close to three hours, making the attendees sing along to most of his songs.
