THE QUEEN – LINDOKUHLE KHOZA

I am Khoza Lindokuhle, aged 19 from Mashobeni. I did my primary at Mbasheni Primary School and completed at Mhlatane High School. I am currently doing my first year at the University of Eswatini where I’m studying Bsc. in Consumer Science. In a nutshell I am a go-getter, I always strive to look good.
How do you feel about being crowned the queen, what have you learnt from the experience?
I am humbled, I joined this pageant for fun and being crowned was a huge shocker as I wasn’t expecting it .I believe this platform is the first step towards reaching my goal. Since being crowned, I’ve gained confidence, discovered my strengths and I am working on my weaknesses, which will one day work to my advantage.
Do you consider yourself successful?
Well, it starts with how one defines success as an individual. My definition of success is being content with what you have at the moment at the same time be willing to learn and achieve more. So, yes, I do consider myself successful.
What can you do to improve education in the country?
To lead by example.
Given a chance to ask a question to God what would you ask?
Why can’t we all be equal? Because that is what makes most people unsatisfied with what they have which can lead to jealousy, depression and give off bad vibes.
If you had an opportunity to change something about the world, what would it be?
I would make the world a peaceful place to live in.

FIRST PRINCESS – NOMCEBO SHONGWE

Who is Nomcebo?
Nomcebo Shongwe is a goal driven young woman, who grew up in the outskirts of Hlatsi in the Shiselweni region. She completed her primary and high school education at Ebenezer FEA. She is currently studying towards a B.Sc in Agronomy at UNESWA, Luyengo Campus. With a goal to achieve her PhD in Crop Science and help the world fight against crop related disasters.
What is the first thing you would do, if there were no rules at campus for one day?
Partying, LOL! I would grab my phone, call my friends over and party the whole day.
What is your biggest fear?
Losing the people I love.
If you had to choose between peace, love, and happiness; what would you choose and why?
I would choose happiness. To me when you’re happy it means your heart is at peace and you have all the love you need in life.
What is your dream vacation?
I personally love water. I’d love to be at a place where in the morning I’d feel the breeze, watch the sun as it rises above the waves of the sea, sleep on the sand of the beach and wait for the sun to set in evening. That place would be Mauritius.
If you were given the chance to be one of the judges during a Fresher’s ball, what qualities would you look for in a Mr Freshers candidate?
Confidence, good height and a nice outfit.
What puzzles you the most?
If the globe is rotating, why don’t we fall and buildings collapse.

SECOND PRINCESS – VIWE DLAMINI

I am Viwe Nthunthu Dlamini, I am 20-years-old from Luve. Currently doing my first year at the University of Eswatini, Luyengo Campus. I completed my high school at St Michael’s in the year 2016.I believe I am a very vibrant young person who is in love with life and I believe me being spontaneous makes it all the more amazing. I am also confident, a go-getter and very comfortable in my own skin and I think my presumptuousness is what makes most people love me.
How do you feel about being among the winners?
I was excited and surprised when I heard I was among the winners as I didn’t think a person my size could actually win a pageant. I think the encouragement I got from my colleagues and family helped me a lot.
What is the first thing you would do, if there were no rules at campus for one day?
I would definitely play my speakers up to the last volume as I am a music lover. I love electro music and Hip Hop. To be honest there aren’t any strict rules at my campus, LOL.
What is your biggest fear?
Losing my mom would be the most tragic thing that would happen to me. The way I love her turns out to be an obsession.
What would you like to know if you could get a crystal ball that could tell the truth?
To know where I’ll be in the next 10-years.
 What is your dream vacation?
The Bahamas, as I am a nature lover and I am in love with the blue waters I see in pictures and on television.
In case you need to choose between peace, love, and happiness; what would you choose and why?
I would go with happiness. When you are happy, love comes for itself and so does peace. Bliss is the mother of all the beautiful and nice things in life.
If you were given the chance to be one of the judges during a Fresher’s ball, what traits would you look for in a Mr Freshers candidate?
Confidence, I know looks and posture should count but I don’t think there’s anything more attractive than a confident candidate.
