MBABANE – Free of charge! Mbongiseni ‘Bholoja’ Ngubane has offered to perform for King Mswati III for free during his birthday party celebrations.
It is not an unusual act for one person to show his or her heartfelt love towards Their majesties.

The spirit of giving has become a norm; hence the award winning musician has offered to perform music from his latest album titled ‘Swazi Soul 3’ as a token of appreciation.

During an interview with the ‘Zero to hero’ hit maker, he said he saw the need to share his gift in celebration of His Majesty’s life.
He also noted that this will be a great opportunity for him to showcase his talent.

“Every other person is entitled to give whatever they have, for me my talent is all I have and I am willing to share it with the king and also it is a chance for me to play my latest album,” he said.
Gift
Bholoja did not just make the offer but has confirmed that he will be performing during the celebrations. When asked on how he got the opportunity he said he could not reveal that.  “I will not mention names but one can ask anywhere, I don’t think one can be stopped form presenting his/her gift to our king,” he said.

The Resource Mobilisation Committee ( who are responsible for organising the King’s birthday celebrations) member,  Busi Hlongwane, said they had heard about the ‘Lendzawo’ hit maker’s  dream to perform for free on the day ,  but the committee has not yet  formally discussed this. “We are aware but we are still yet to formalise everything,” she said.

Hlongwane also encouraged the public to also bring forth what they would love to present to Their majesties towards the national celebration of Independence Day and the King’s Birthday.

She further explained to this publication that the nation can present anything, if it is money people can deposit to a certain account number or call her on 7650 5151 for more information and assistance.
