LOVE MONTH BRINGS SA’S AFROTRACTION

MBABANE - If you have a fetish for love music you better read this. South African afro-pop singer Afrotraction, real name Mzwandile Moya, is slated to perform in the country on February 24 at The George Hotel in Manzini.


Afrotraction is mainly known for his love songs so the invitation to perform in the country in February, which is known to be the month of love because of Valentine’s Day, which falls on February 14.


The show is dubbed ‘Sunday Chillout with Afrotraction’ and it is the second annual show hosted by New Life Entertainment, a fast growing entertainment entity which hosted South Africa’s Vusi Nova last year.
The ‘Mnike’ hit maker is best known for his highly unique performances.

Speaking to New Life Entertainment Operations Manager and DJ, Zama ‘DJ Cup’ Maseko, he said the event was solely based on celebrating the month of love which was filled with peace and happiness.
“New Life Entertainment decided to take the fun to Manzini so we urge everyone in the city to attend the event because it is made for them,” said Maseko.


The ‘Ngiphelele’ hit maker confirmed the show through his manager, Zipho Zwane. “We are in the process of sending pictures and live videos of Afrotraction confirming the event,” said Zwane. Afrotraction is not new to the Eswatini flair as he has close relations to Eswatini’s golden girl, Nomzamo ‘Zamo’ Dlamini. Dlamini has been spotted sharing the stage with the South African singer many times and this is usually after he calls Dlamini on stage in the middle of his performances.


Also, her single ‘Njengami’ from her latest album was produced by award winning artist and producer Afrotraction.
However, Dlamini could not be reached for comment.
Tickets to the show cost E100 for general and E350 for the VIP and the show starts at 12pm.
