MBABANE - If you think fireworks were officially dead and to be forgotten in the country, think again.

Making sure that the revived Fireworks show is back with a bang is South African actor, musician and now DJ, Naak Musiq.
Naak Musiq, real name Anga Makubalo, is not new to Eswatini as he has performed annually ever since his music career took off.

The renowned ‘AmaBenjamin’ hit maker will be a headlining act at the revived Fireworks show on December 8, at a venue which is yet to be disclosed.
Naak Musiq will be supported by Eswatini renowned entertainers including MTN SWAMA Award winner Master P, KB Da DJ, The Scientists, Khwanny, Mathamza, NYD, Lady Zee, Yolanda, Lolo Dancers, Khonza, H20 and hosts will be the forever entertaining Nqaba and Lady MC.

Popular event organiser Banele Dlamini, the very same man behind DJ Tira’s epic birthday party, earlier this year said the event was motivated by the colour that fireworks bring in people’s lives.

“Fireworks represent the year end and celebrating all its successes while embracing the failures. This function will be reminiscing the good all days where fireworks had a huge significance,” he said. Entrance fee to the show is E100.

Confirmed

In a brief interview with this publication, the South African artist confirmed his performance during the upcoming Fireworks show..
“As my Eswatini fans know, I will deliver the best of me. It will be a lit show,” he said.

Naak Musiq was born on May 28, 1987 in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth in South Africa. He is a South African actor, model and musician. He is popularly known for his role as MJ Memela on former SABC 1 soap opera Generations. In 2015, he joined the popular Afrotainment crew which was established by DJ Tira.
