SA’S DR MALINGA LIGHTS UP NHLANGANO

MBABANE – The legendary Dr Malinga brought Nhlangano to life last Saturday!

Nhlangano, a town in the Shiselweni region, celebrated elections in style with the legendary South African artist and dancer. Hundreds of fun lovers braved the cold weather for the show which was hosted by Newlife Xperience with which was held at Jukes on Fire Spin City and danced like they were in Ibiza. Dr Malinga took over the stage at 1am and he was welcomed by screams of excited fans. He rendered an exhilarating one hour performance and as expected, he performed his popular hits including ‘Petronella’ and ‘Via Orlando’, which inevitably sent revellers into a frenzy.

His trademark dance moves were also the order of the night. He then invited fans to share the stage with him much to their appreciation. Local acts who also brought their fire to Nhlangano were DJ Zulu, DJ Cup, The Scientists and local DJs who didn’t disappoint. The DJs were supported by various acts from Nhlangano and Hlatikhulu who were also a marvel to watch. The crowd was constantly entertained throughout the night by the energetic MC Nikky. It is worth noting that the Newlife Xperience is gaining popularity in Nhlangano proven by the attendance which was better than last year.
