MBABANE – At the end of the day, an individual or entity’s successes should be poured into humanitarian work.

Eswatini gospel music maestro and Zinceku Zamagawugawu leader Mduduzi ‘Gaw’zela’ Simelane is working towards bringing back ‘Makhelwane Sim’bona Ngetento’ to our screens.

Simelane revealed the news on his social media pages ,which were received by his followers  last  Tuesday. He posted a brand new Honda CRV vehicle branded ‘Makhelwane Sim’bona Ngetento’ as proof of his intent. He will be using the very same car to execute his show.
This popular show which was hosted by Simelane was established in 2010 and it was aired on Eswatini TV.

Responsibility

‘Makhelwane Sim’bona Ngetento’ was a social responsibility show where Simelane showed his altruism and gave back to the less privileged.
When contacted, Gawuzela confirmed his  new move, saying he was excited to finally  bring back the show. However, he said the rights to air the show have not been committed to any TV station as yet . “I need to look at both of Eswatini’s TV stations and decide which one works best for me and what I want to achieve with the show,” he said.

Previously on the show, Simelane spotted underprivileged families, individuals and sometimes soup kitchens in the rural neglected areas of our society and assisted them by buying groceries, building houses and sometimes, by sending drop out orphans  back to school.
The show stopped airing in 2013 but according to Simelane, the initiative, which was then formally registered as a non-profit making organisation, continued and is still thriving.

“As musicians, we work tirelessly to make an income and it is the inevitable that we give back to society with the profits that we make. My wish is that as soon as the TV show is back on air, other people and/or entities  will be touched by the work that will be done  and contribute more,” said Simelane.
Simelane promised his fans that the show will bigger and better, and will reach out to all the corners of the kingdom.
